I was thinking today about the "third place" which is a sociology term. The "first place" is your home, where you live; the "second place" is your job, where you work. And the "third place" is the place for social interaction- the place between your job and your home. I am working on establishing my third place but I am definitely leaning to Timbeaux's on the Square in Hernando.

The "third place" is a necessary and vital function in society so I urge everyone to find there "third place" and frequent it often- after all, it is for the good of the society at large.

Okay, so I am now obsessed with Achmed the Dead Terrorist. You never expect to hear such sincerity, honestly, and vulnerability from a dead puppet; followed closely by "Silence! I Keell You!" I laugh so hard and just love him! From his fear of Walter, singing of Jingle Bombs, and his timeless quotes: "I'm not Muslim; I'm Made in China" he has my attention all the way!

Just add this to the list of things I love that I'm giving up. Just found out how bad martini's are for you. It's almost evil isn't it? You would think that something with olive juice would be good!? But I'm not giving up my quest to find an alcoholic drink that is healthy.. i know you're out there somewhere and I will find you! Maybe Bloody Mary's will be my next fling???

Stone Temple Pilots was last night and was incredible! We were on the floor on the 3rd row and the music was great. Despite the fact the band was really really late getting there! And Scott Weiland is not bad to look at either! He was wearing white leather high heeled boots and the guitarist was wearing pink uggs.. but who cares? They were great and he looked great!

This is a hard one for me to learn and to understand. I guess it is true and that just means you have to let go of one thing or one person to gain onther thing more valuable to you.
